On June 6th 1962 the Beatles (John, Paul, George and Pete Best) were due to have their first recording session at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. As it was not only a recording session but also a proper audition, they didn't want to have the same failure as during the Decca audition of January 1st, 1962.
So at 3pm on Sunday June 3rd 1962, the four Beatles rehearsed at
the Cavern Club till 6.30 pm. If you want to know what they sounded like, you should be able to find some good material on selected bootlegs, or listen to
