A star-studded group of rock musicians turned up to celebrate Sir Peter Blake's 80th birthday. Blake is an English pop artist who is best know to Beatle fans as the designer of the famous cover sleeve of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
He also designed (in a similar style) the Greatest Hits album of Oasis (Stop the Clocks)
At the birthday party he was joined by Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood and Roger Daltrey
To mark Peter Blake's 80th birthday, an exhibition will be held at
Pallant House Gallery in Chichester celebrating the artist's long
associations with music called "Peter Blake and Pop Music" (23 June to 7
October 2012)
