Well now we are 50 years later and the Beatles are still going strong on the radio, television, and every now and then even in the charts. Cavern and Birkenhead
Thursday July 12 1962 saw the Beatles drive between Liverpool (a lunchtime engagement at the Cavern) and Birkenhead (an evening session at the Majestic Ballroom).
